Job Description
A senior embedded software engineer responsible for designing and developing embedded software for satellite electronic payloads, contributing to advanced space missions and guiding a team of experts in bringing innovative space technologies to orbit.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop embedded software for satellite electronic payloads
- Guide a team of experts in implementing embedded systems solutions
- Contribute to advancing in-space compute capabilities, RF communications, and software-defined payloads
- Support the integration and testing of embedded software on satellite hardware
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring satellite ideas to reality and prepare for launch
Requirements
- Experience in embedded software design and development for satellite electronic payloads.
- Proven ability to guide and lead a team of experts in embedded systems development.
- Strong understanding of in-space compute capabilities, RF communications, and software defined payloads.
- Ability to bring ideas from concept to reality and support launching work into orbit.
- Relevant experience in developing embedded software for space applications.
- Educational background in a relevant field such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines (implied but not explicitly stated).
