Loft Orbital is looking for a Senior Electrical Systems Engineer who thrives at the intersection of hardware and mission-level systems thinking.

Strong experience in electrical systems engineering - including harness design, electrical schematics, and power allocation/distribution.
Ability to interpret ICDs and translate them into harness and interconnect designs.
Experience developing system component requirements and interconnect diagrams.
Ability to interpret EMI / EMC test plans.
Senior-level experience, with comfort acting as the primary electrical owner for a mission or program.
Comfortable flexing into some board design work as needed.
Software/scripting capability — comfortable running scripts or debugging code, and managing outside suppliers delivering hardware with embedded software.
Familiarity with CD&H (command and data handling) systems
Prior experience supporting multiple missions or programs simultaneously.
