Lead Satellite Environmental Test Engineer

• Perform test feasibility assessment during early satellite program phases. • Build long-term and short-term environmental test plans based on program needs. • Produce SOPs and process documentation for all test equipment operations. • Oversee readiness, calibration, and maintenance (including maintenance contracts) for vibration tables, TVAC chambers, thermal systems, and EMC/EMI test equipment. • Prepare hardware, instrumentation, facility setups, and DAQ configurations prior to test campaigns. • Lead execution of Vibration, TVAC, Thermal, and EMC/EMI tests. • Supervise test technicians; ensure procedural discipline and configuration control. • Analyze test data and generate qualification/acceptance reports. • Interface with Systems Engineering, AIT, QA, and external vendors on environmental test matters.
