Job Description

Requirements

5+ years of Distribution Engineering is required,
Direct experience supporting Hawaiian Electric (HECO) or Maui Electric preferred.
Bachelor's Degree (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial preferred); additional relevant experience/certifications may be considered in lieu of bachelor's degree
Experience with NESC Standards, AutoCAD and/or MicroStation, and Bluebeam and/or Adobe.
Experience with ESRI, ESIMS, SAP and GIS a plus.
Experience with distribution design tools such as Pole Foreman, Spida-Calc, O-Calc
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) required.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Willingness to perform both field and office work.
Overnight travel may be required (15-25% travel).
Ability to work in outdoor environments and construction sites.
Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to use a personal vehicle for work-related travel, as needed.
