A Senior Mechanical Engineer responsible for addressing critical mechanical and system-level challenges in the development of modular nuclear power plants, working closely with leadership to drive innovation and rapid deployment in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Drive forward critical mechanical and system-level challenges for the fleet-wide product.
Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team to develop and implement mechanical engineering solutions.
Contribute to the design, development, and deployment of modular nuclear power plants.
Requirements
Experience working as a Mechanical Engineer with a focus on system-level challenges in a product development environment.
Proven ability to work directly with executive leadership, including the CEO and core leadership team, to drive mechanical engineering initiatives.
Demonstrated experience in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting mechanical systems, preferably within the nuclear energy or related high-tech manufacturing sectors.
Strong hands-on engineering skills with the ability to contribute to rapid decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in high-throughput manufacturing processes, supply chain management, or rapid deployment strategies related to complex engineering products.
Ability to innovate and develop solutions that significantly reduce the time and cost of deployment for complex systems.
Educational background in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree; advanced degrees are preferred.
