This role involves leading the daily operations of a nuclear facility, ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance, while working closely with engineering, maintenance, and leadership to drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operations of the nuclear facility ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance
- Implement design intent, safety basis requirements, and operating procedures into disciplined operations
- Ensure operational readiness and drive continuous improvement in safety, reliability, and cost
- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and corporate leadership while maintaining decision-making authority at the site level
Requirements
- Experience in leading day-to-day operations of a nuclear facility, ensuring safe, reliable, and compliant plant operations
- Ability to work on design intent, safety basis requirements, and operating procedures to achieve disciplined operations
- Proven track record of ensuring operational readiness of a nuclear plant or similar complex facility
- Experience in driving continuous improvement across safety, reliability, and cost metrics
- Ability to collaborate closely with engineering, maintenance, and corporate leadership
- Maintain clear authority and decision-making responsibilities at the site level
