Job Description
The Vice President of Commercial Operations will oversee the purchasing of cannabis products and wholesale sales across all Jushi markets, leading strategic efforts to support the company's growth in the multi-state cannabis industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the purchasing of cannabis goods across all Jushi markets.
- Oversee wholesale sales efforts for the company's cannabis products.
- Collaborate with various company leaders to align commercial operations strategies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in leading the purchases of cannabis goods and wholesale sales efforts across multiple markets, with a comprehensive understanding of the cannabis industry.
- Ability to work effectively with various leaders at different levels within the company, demonstrating strong leadership and collaboration skills.
- Experience in developing and executing commercial strategies for a multi-state cannabis company.
- Knowledge of the operations of high-end retail locations, cultivation, processing, and manufacturing facilities within the cannabis industry.
- Familiarity with developing and managing a portfolio of cannabis brands addressing consumer and patient needs across multiple states.
- Ability to lead and manage a team involved in purchasing, sales, and distribution activities within a regulated industry.
- Strong understanding of the legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements related to cannabis procurement and wholesale sales in multiple states.
- Experience in working with data-driven platforms and utilizing data analytics to inform commercial decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with various internal departments and external partners.
- A minimum of several years of experience in a senior commercial or operational leadership role within the cannabis or related industry.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher education in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (implied, as senior leadership roles typically require relevant higher education).
