Job Description
The Senior Manager of Logistics oversees distribution, fulfillment, inventory control, and vendor compliance activities, supporting expansion efforts and coordinating with various teams within a multi-state cannabis company.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee internal and third-party distribution activities
- Manage fulfillment operations and inventory control
- Ensure vendor compliance and adherence to standards
- Develop planning and growth strategies for expansion and new facilities
- Support cross-functional teams with new initiatives related to distribution and logistics
Requirements
- Experience overseeing strategic activities related to internal and third-party distribution activities, fulfillment management, inventory control, vendor compliance, planning, and growth strategies for expansions and or new facilities, with a clear understanding of these functions.
- Ability to support and collaborate with Grower Processor, Security, Retail, and Commercial Teams with new initiatives related to distribution and fulfillment.
- Proven experience in managing distribution and fulfillment operations within the cannabis industry or a similar regulated industry.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement growth strategies for facility expansions or new facility openings.
- Strong understanding of inventory management, vendor compliance, and fulfillment processes.
- Experience in managing or overseeing distribution activities across multiple states or regions, with knowledge of multi-state operational requirements.
- Ability to adapt to changing duties, obligations, and responsibilities, with flexibility to handle evolving job activities.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, distribution, or supply chain management roles.
- Educational background or equivalent experience relevant to logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Physical ability to perform job duties as required, including potential lifting, standing, or other physical demands typical of logistics management roles.
