Job Description

The Manufacturing Manager oversees daily operations in the extraction and production facilities, ensuring quality, safety, compliance, and efficiency while leading and managing teams in a fast-paced cannabis manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage daily operations in the extraction, refinement, and edible production labs
Lead and manage teams, including staffing, training, and scheduling
Maintain inventory management and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Ensure production meets quality, safety, and schedule requirements
Provide leadership and guidance to achieve production objectives
Monitor and enforce adherence to safety, health, and regulatory compliance

Requirements

Experience in overseeing and managing extraction, refinement, and edible production within a manufacturing facility.
Ability to develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to extraction, refinement, and edible production processes.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to actively manage teams and provide guidance and direction.
Competence in managing staffing, training, scheduling, and inventory management in a fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding of safety and quality standards applicable to cannabis extraction, processing, and manufacturing operations.
Ability to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards within the facility.
Experience in aligning operational activities with corporate directives and initiatives to achieve production objectives.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and management.
Physical ability to perform job duties in a manufacturing environment, including standing, walking, and handling materials as required.
Educational background or experience sufficient to demonstrate competence in manufacturing management, with specific experience in cannabis or related industries preferred.
