Job Description
The HR Manager oversees daily human resources functions at a manufacturing facility, with a focus on union-related matters, labor relations, and supporting regional cultural initiatives in a fast-paced, unionized environment within the cannabis industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day HR functions at the manufacturing facility
- Lead and oversee onsite union-related matters, including contract interpretation and grievance administration
- Facilitate labor-management communications
- Partner with the Pennsylvania Region to support and execute cultural events and engagement initiatives
Requirements
- Experience in leading and managing all onsite union-related matters, including contract interpretation, grievance administration, and labor-management communications.
- Proven ability to serve as the face of Human Resources for a manufacturing facility, handling day-to-day HR functions.
- Strong communication skills to effectively partner with and support the Pennsylvania Region in overseeing and executing cultural events and engagement initiatives.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, unionized environment, demonstrating proactive problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or similar industrial environment with unionized employees.
