Job Description
The Flower Technician is responsible for processing cannabis flowers through trimming, sorting, and packaging, ensuring accurate documentation and efficient workflow in a production environment within the cannabis industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort, trim, and jar cannabis flower
- Primary packaging of cannabis-based medicines
- Ensure correct quantity, weight, and type of product is packaged and documented
- Manage all aspects of flower processing from post-harvest to packaging
- Operate and maintain processing equipment efficiently
- Increase productivity while maintaining quality standards
Requirements
- Ability to perform all aspects of flower processing from post harvest through primary packaging, including trimming, sorting, assembling trimmed product into various containers and packages, and ensuring that the appropriate quantity, weight, and type of product is packaged and accurately documented.
- Willingness to be trained in the use of equipment for processing cannabis-based medicines.
- Ability to work in a timely manner and strive to increase productivity while maintaining professional regard to the management and use of all production facilities and processing equipment.
