Job Description
The Director of Operations is responsible for managing and overseeing all operational aspects of the company's recreational and medicinal cannabis manufacturing and distribution activities, leading various operational teams, ensuring compliance, and providing strategic guidance to support growth and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Operationalize and manage recreational and medicinal manufacturing and distribution operations
- Lead and oversee all operational teams including sales, purchasing, inventory, cultivation, manufacturing, fulfillment, safety, quality, and compliance
- Contribute at all operational levels, including hands-on involvement
- Train and mentor team members
- Provide operational guidance and performance metrics to the executive team
Requirements
- The candidate must have experience in operationalizing and managing existing and new recreational and medicinal cannabis manufacturing and distribution operations.
- The candidate must have experience leading all operational teams, including sales operations, purchasing, inventory management, cultivation, manufacturing, fulfillment, safety, quality, and compliance.
- The candidate must be willing to contribute at all operational levels and be willing to get their hands dirty.
- The candidate must have experience training and mentoring team members.
- The candidate must be able to provide operational guidance and metrics to the executive team.
