Job Description
The Director of Asset Protection is responsible for developing and managing enterprise-wide programs to safeguard people, products, and property, focusing on loss prevention, physical security, and risk mitigation across various operations, while collaborating with key departments to ensure safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage enterprise-wide asset protection programs
- Lead initiatives in loss prevention, physical security, and risk mitigation
- Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Compliance, and IT to ensure alignment with company objectives and regulatory requirements
- Reduce shrink and improve operational efficiency through proactive programs and technology integration
- Strengthen safety culture using data-driven insights and security strategies
Requirements
- Experience in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-wide programs that protect people, products, and property.
- Proven ability to lead initiatives in loss prevention, physical security, and risk mitigation across retail, cultivation, and manufacturing operations.
- Ability to serve as a key business partner to Operations, Finance, Compliance, and IT departments to ensure alignment with company objectives, regulatory requirements, and brand standards.
- Demonstrated focus on reducing shrink and improving operational efficiency through proactive programs, technology integration, and data-driven insights.
- Strategic leadership skills to strengthen the company's culture of safety.
- Minimum of several years of relevant experience in asset protection, loss prevention, or related fields (specific years not explicitly stated but implied as a senior leadership role).
