Job Description
The Cost Accountant will focus on managing and maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting cycle counts, and analyzing cost data to support operational efficiency in a multi-state cannabis company.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counting and report generation
- Identify and investigate causes of inventory inaccuracies
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of inventory to support ongoing operations
Requirements
- Focus on cost accounting and inventory management, including maintaining accurate inventory using processes such as cycle counting and report running.
- Determine the cause of inventory inaccuracies and maintain the accuracy and integrity of inventory to ensure continued operations and avoid product or inventory shortages.
- Maintain a high level of communication among various departments related to inventory and cost accounting activities.
