Job Description
The Compliance Audit Manager is responsible for conducting regional internal audits, ensuring adherence to laws and internal controls within a vertically integrated cannabis company, and preparing reports to identify issues such as non-compliance or fraud, with travel to various facilities as needed.

Requirements
- Experience in managing regional departmental output, internal audits, and reporting compliance operating procedures within a regulated industry.
- Ability to analyze local laws and regulations related to cannabis operations and ensure compliance across all aspects of a vertically integrated cannabis company, including cultivation, manufacturing, and dispensaries.
- Experience in facility license renewals maintenance for cannabis-related facilities.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively to conduct comprehensive audits at various locations.
- Proficiency in preparing reports and providing evidence of issues such as poor controls, fraud, and non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies.
- Strong understanding of internal control procedures and regulatory compliance requirements specific to the cannabis industry.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and assess compliance risks and recommend corrective actions.
- Educational background or experience relevant to compliance, auditing, or regulatory affairs (specific degree or years of experience not explicitly specified but implied as necessary).
