Job Description
The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for overseeing daily retail operations at a cannabis dispensary, including staffing, training, inventory management, merchandising, and ensuring compliance, while providing a positive experience for patients and supporting team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily retail operations, including staffing, training, and scheduling
- Oversee inventory management and purchasing
- Ensure visual merchandising standards are maintained
- Handle cash management and financial transactions
- Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies
- Interact with patients and team members to promote a positive culture and patient experience
Requirements
- Experience in managing day-to-day retail operations including staffing, training, scheduling, buying, visual merchandising, cash management, inventory management, and compliance adherence.
- Competence to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Ability to effectively interact with patients and team members to ensure a positive culture and the best possible patient experience.
- Reporting directly to the Dispensary Store Manager.
