Job Description
The Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing daily retail operations at a cannabis dispensary, including staff management, inventory control, merchandising, compliance, and providing a positive patient experience under the supervision of the Store Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily retail store operations
- Oversee staffing, training, and scheduling
- Handle purchasing and visual merchandising
- Manage cash flow and inventory
- Ensure compliance with regulations
- Interact with patients and team to promote a positive culture and patient experience
Requirements
- Experience in managing day-to-day retail operations including staffing, training, scheduling, buying, visual merchandising, cash management, inventory management, and compliance adherence.
- Competence to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership skills to lead and interact effectively with patients and team members.
- Ability to ensure a positive culture and the best possible patient experience for clientele.
- Reporting directly to the Dispensary Store Manager.
