Job Description
The Health and Safety Advisor will support the development and implementation of HSE strategies, ensure compliance with legislation and standards, conduct risk assessments and investigations, manage environmental and safety programs, and provide training and support to UK operations to promote a safe and sustainable working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of Invinity's HSE strategy across UK operations
- Ensure compliance with UK HSE legislation and ISO standards through internal audits
- Conduct and oversee risk assessments and their implementation
- Carry out accident investigations using root cause analysis techniques
- Manage environmental monitoring, waste management, and sustainability reporting
- Deliver HSE training and awareness programs across all levels of the UK business
- Support communication with regulatory bodies, insurers, and external auditors
- Assist line managers and supervisors with safety planning and incident response
- Provide HSE input to new projects, facilities, and equipment installations
- Regularly review and update safety documentation, policies, and procedures
- Report key HSE metrics and performance indicators to senior management
