Job Description
A role focused on research, development, and software engineering in machine learning, computer vision, and robotics, involving algorithm development, data processing, prototype creation, and staying current with emerging trends to solve complex technical problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform research, engineering, and software development in machine learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, computer vision, and robotics.
- Develop algorithms, process sensor data, and create prototypes for various applications.
- Implement software, interface with hardware, and simulate data for project development.
Requirements
- Research experience in one or more of the following areas in machine learning, computer vision, or robotics reinforcement learning, object detection, semantic segmentation, pose estimation, 3D reconstruction, activity recognition, validation verification, robotic simulations, multi-agent decision making for autonomous systems.
- Experience developing innovative solutions based upon the application of relevant research results from a wide variety of sources.
- Hands-on experience with Python, C, C++, machine learning tools and packages such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
- Experience with 3D simulation and modeling tools such as Blender, Unreal, or Omniverse.
- Expertise in Deep Learning, Convolutional Neural Networks, Transformers, Recurrent Neural Networks, Generative AI, Adversarial AI, Multimodal AI, Large Language Models, and Reinforcement Learning.
- Expertise in computer vision, including 2D or 3D object recognition, pose estimation, robotic control, and path planning, as well as embedded processing.
- Possession of a Master’s degree (MS) or Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related fields.
- U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, or permanent resident status.
