Undergrad Intern Bus/Mgmt

This Co-Op Intern (year-round internship) works in the Internal Audit Department and will assist with the Subcontractor Incurred Cost Audits. Tasks will include, but are not limited to: * Running Access DataMart queries. * Analysis of data. * Preparing electronic allowable cost claims (EACC's) for subcontractor costs. * Resolving issues with management and staff in a timely manner. * Assisting with completing applicable audit procedure(s) and working documents with oversight of a team member.

• Intern should be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or other related field. *Must have one college term completed and be currently enrolled as a full-time student, have and maintain an overall GPA of 2.5 or above (list on your resume), the availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, and live within a commutable distance to the work site. This is a year-round internship. *Ability to obtain and maintain a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) Credential badge.
• Candidates should possess the following attributes: * First or second year student preferred in order to fully benefit from program opportunities. Strong attention to detail. * Basic mathematical skills applied to business reporting, including the use of databases and excel. * Intermediate computer skills and familiarization with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook. * Strong communication and grammar skills. * Ability to work independently and as a team to complete tasks.
