Job Description
The role involves developing and executing procurement strategies for raw materials and components, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring supply chain efficiency to support Gotion Inc.'s electric vehicle and energy storage manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a purchasing strategy to optimize costs and supply chain efficiency
- Identify, qualify, and evaluate suppliers to meet quality and sustainability standards
- Negotiate and finalize supplier contracts with favorable terms
- Manage inventory levels to balance stock availability and minimize costs
- Monitor supply chain performance and implement contingency plans for disruptions
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure purchased materials meet technical and quality standards
- Stay informed on industry trends and market developments to identify cost-saving and innovation opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement roles in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the battery manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record of successfully negotiating and managing supplier contracts, achieving cost savings, and ensuring timely deliveries.
- In-depth understanding of battery manufacturing processes and the specific raw materials, components, and supplies required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate supply chain risks and disruptions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Proficient in the use of supply chain management software and data analysis tools.
