Job Description

This role involves providing technical pre-sales support and account management for energy storage systems (ESS), collaborating with sales, R&D, and product teams to ensure successful project design, customer satisfaction, and product development in the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide pre-sales technical support for customer account engagements, including documentation development and training to ensure high-quality design and minimal post-sales issues
  • Manage pre- and post-sales technical account engagements to develop and communicate comprehensive design, installation, and operational plans
  • Support utility-scale and commercial projects with customized design solutions to secure design wins and optimize costs
  • Gather and relay customer feedback and technical issues to R&D and Product Management for product improvements
  • Lead the development of market training, technical tools, and documentation for ESS products
  • Coordinate field testing and collect feedback on new hardware and software
  • Collaborate with Customer Support to address technical issues and ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Engage with customers on ESS system applications and coordinate with partners for system integration
  • Develop technical documentation including specifications, manuals, safety certifications, and proposals
  • Work with sales teams to prioritize technical support for projects and ensure successful account and project wins
  • Coordinate with R&D and design teams to prepare ESS products for market and support pre-sales activities
  • Collaborate with Product Management on technical tools, training, and product feedback to drive adoption and improvements

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), Mechanical Engineering (BSME), or a Master of Science (MS) degree is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in ESS engineering design, technical pre-sales support, and project management.
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical subject matter with external partners and customers.
  • Strong networking and communication expertise.
  • Ability and willingness to travel locally, domestically, and at times internationally.
