Job Description
A Senior Technical Recruiter responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment processes for technical roles in manufacturing and technology sectors, supporting the rapid growth of Gotion's battery production facility in Illinois by sourcing, attracting, and onboarding top engineering and technical talent.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for technical roles including engineering, R&D, manufacturing, and leadership positions.
- Collaborate with hiring managers, HR, and leadership to define hiring needs and develop recruitment strategies.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to attract top technical talent through various channels.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of passive and active candidates in critical technical domains.
- Track and analyze recruitment metrics to improve hiring processes and outcomes.
- Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives within the recruitment process.
- Enhance employer branding through external networking, partnerships, and recruitment campaigns.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding.
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with relevant regulations and internal policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in technical recruiting, preferably in manufacturing, engineering, or advanced technology sectors.
- Proven track record of successfully filling technical positions in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Expertise in direct sourcing, networking, and engaging with passive talent across multiple channels.
- Strong understanding of the full recruitment lifecycle, with demonstrated experience in both volume and niche hiring.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS, and other recruitment tools.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Commitment to promoting diversity and creating an inclusive hiring environment.
- Ability to lead and manage the end-to-end recruitment process for technical roles including engineering, R&D, manufacturing, and technical leadership positions.
- Ability to develop and implement proactive sourcing strategies utilizing channels such as direct sourcing, social media, networking, and industry events.
- Ability to build and maintain a robust pipeline of passive and active candidates in critical technical domains.
- Ability to track and analyze key recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate satisfaction to improve hiring processes.
- Ability to collaborate with hiring managers, HR business partners, and senior leadership to define hiring needs and develop role profiles.
- Ability to ensure all recruitment activities are in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as internal policies and standards.
Benefits & Perks
U.S. base salary range of $100,000 to $110,000 plus eligibility for bonus and benefits
