Job Description
The Senior FP&A Manager will lead financial planning, analysis, and modeling efforts to support strategic decision-making and business growth at Gotion Inc., collaborating with leadership and cross-functional teams to develop budgets, forecasts, and insights into financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and oversee the budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build financial models for the company.
- Work with company leaders to create financial forecasts and budgets to guide decision-making.
- Perform financial scenario analysis to support strategic decisions by senior management.
- Analyze actual financial performance against budgets and prior periods, providing insights to management.
- Support decision-making by delivering timely and detailed financial insights and visibility.
- Partner with leadership to understand macroeconomic and industry factors impacting financial performance.
- Research and analyze competitor financial reports and market trends to inform strategic planning.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to assist management in decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Master's Degree (MBA preferred)
- 7 years of financial analysis and modeling experience
- At least 3 years of experience in Big 4 accounting firms
- At least 3 years of private industry experience
- Ability to analyze, prioritize, and execute in a high-pressure environment
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, Micro, Vlookup, Sumif, and the ability to quickly manipulate and analyze large data sets and build reports
- Strong financial and business acumen with broad knowledge of FP&A processes
- Experience in developing and managing budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to build foundational financial models for the company
- Experience working with company leaders to develop financial forecast budgets that guide decision making and serve as benchmarks on financial performance
- Experience performing financial scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Experience analyzing actuals against budget, forecast, and prior year to advise management on financial matters
- Ability to provide management with timely, detailed, and meaningful insights and visibility on business performance
- Experience working with senior management and Operating Committee Members to understand macroeconomic and industry factors impacting financial performance
- Experience partnering with leaders to develop revenue and profitability forecasts
- Experience researching and analyzing financial reports of competitors and market trends to inform decision making
- Ability to perform ad hoc analysis to assist management decision making
Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: $130,000 - $180,000 USD
