Job Description

The role involves developing and leading marketing and sales strategies for energy storage systems (ESS) projects, managing client relationships, negotiating contracts, and staying abreast of industry trends to support Gotion's growth in the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and lead a marketing and sales team, collaborating with technical personnel internally and externally
  • Develop and implement best practices for BESS projects across various product lines
  • Act as a domain expert on BESS, reviewing and approving project solutions with financial considerations
  • Develop metrics and targets for continuous improvement in project delivery
  • Establish methods for tracking construction progress, market opportunities, and presenting reports to the global team
  • Participate in industry conferences and networking to stay updated on market trends
  • Develop relationships with key technology vendors and negotiate contracts with customers, partners, vendors, and subcontractors

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in Business Development
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Marketing, or other related Field
  • 2 years of experience in the energy sector, specifically Energy Storage Systems (ESS)
  • Excellent communication and networking skills
  • Experience working in a startup or similar environment
  • Global experience and an understanding of multicultural nuances that drive the decision-making process

Compensation/salary range: $100,000 - $140,000 USD
