Job Description
This role involves developing and leading marketing and sales strategies for energy storage systems (ESS) projects, managing client relationships, negotiating contracts, and staying informed on industry trends to support Gotion's growth in the battery energy storage industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and lead a specialized marketing and sales team, collaborating with technical personnel internally and externally
- Develop and implement best practices for BESS projects across various product lines
- Act as a domain expert on BESS, reviewing and approving project solutions in collaboration with ESS stakeholders
- Develop metrics and targets for continuous improvement in project delivery
- Establish methods for tracking construction progress, acquisition opportunities, and new market identification
- Participate in industry conferences and networking to stay informed on market trends
- Develop relationships with key technology vendors and negotiate contracts with customers, partners, vendors, and subcontractors
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in Business Development
- BA in Finance, Marketing, or other related Field
- MBA preferred
- 2 years in the energy sector, specifically ESS
- Excellent communication and networking skills
- Experience working in a startup or similar environment
- Global experience and an understanding of multicultural nuances that drive the decision-making process
