Job Description
This role involves developing and leading marketing and sales strategies for energy storage systems (ESS), managing project delivery, building industry relationships, and negotiating contracts to support Gotion's growth in the battery energy storage industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and lead a marketing and sales team, collaborating with technical personnel internally and externally
- Develop and implement best practices for BESS projects across all product lines
- Act as a domain expert on BESS, reviewing financial considerations and approving optimal solutions
- Develop metrics and targets for continuous improvement in project delivery
- Track construction progress, acquisition opportunities, and new market identification, reporting to the global team
- Participate in industry conferences and networking to stay updated on market trends
- Establish relationships with key technology vendors and manage procurement, construction, and EPC partnerships
- Negotiate contracts with customers, partners, vendors, and subcontractors to enhance Gotion’s competitive position
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in Business Development
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Marketing, or other related Field
- Experience working in the energy sector, specifically Energy Storage Systems (ESS)
- Excellent communication and networking skills
- Experience working in a startup or similar environment
- Global experience and an understanding of multicultural nuances that drive the decision-making process

Compensation/salary range: $100,000 - $140,000 USD
