Job Description
This role involves developing and leading marketing and sales strategies for energy storage systems (ESS), managing project delivery, building industry relationships, and negotiating contracts to support Gotion's growth in the battery energy storage sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and lead a marketing and sales team, collaborating with technical personnel internally and externally
- Develop and implement best practices for BESS projects across various product lines
- Act as a domain expert on BESS, reviewing financial considerations and approving optimal solutions for projects
- Develop metrics and targets for continuous improvement in project delivery
- Establish methods for tracking construction progress, acquisition opportunities, and new market identification
- Participate in industry conferences and networking to stay informed on market trends
- Develop relationships with key technology vendors and negotiate contracts with customers, partners, vendors, and subcontractors
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in Business Development
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Marketing, or other related Field
- Experience working in the energy sector, specifically ESS (Energy Storage Systems)
- Excellent communication and networking skills
- Experience working in a startup or similar environment
- Global experience and an understanding of multicultural nuances that drive the decision-making process
