A Quality Inspector at Gotion Inc. is responsible for conducting quality checks on electric vehicle battery products throughout manufacturing, recording results, and recommending process improvements to ensure product quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct quality checks on EV battery products throughout manufacturing stages
Record inspection results and generate test reports
Utilize inspection and measurement equipment to verify product quality
Maintain accurate inspection records ensuring data integrity
Perform routine equipment checks, maintenance, and troubleshooting
Understand and follow product test requirements and procedures for energy storage systems
Requirements
Previous experience doing dedicated quality control in a technically challenging manufacturing setting
Proficiency with standard computer applications such as word processing and spreadsheets
Analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a focus on detail
Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management skills, able to collaborate across departments
Willingness to work overtime if needed
Willingness to travel internationally to China for a training trip if required
Ability to stand for long periods regularly
Ability to turn at the waist, reach, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to pass static strength requirements for grip
Visual acuity including near acuity (clarity of vision at 20 inches or less) and far acuity (clarity of vision at 20 feet or more)
Depth perception (three-dimensional vision to judge distances and spatial relationships)
Color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors)
Field of vision (ability to observe an area up and down or to the right or left while eyes are fixed on a point)
