The Project Engineer will assist in developing and managing construction projects related to Gotion's manufacturing and R&D facilities, ensuring compliance with standards, coordinating with various stakeholders, and overseeing project progress, safety, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Project Manager in developing project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
Coordinate with design institutes, contractors, equipment vendors, and internal departments
Monitor project progress, identify delays or risks, and propose corrective actions
Review construction drawings, technical specifications, and design changes for compliance with standards
Manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders
Participate in BIM coordination and clash detection using Navisworks or AutoCAD
Support site construction, equipment installation, quality inspection, and safety supervision
Track construction progress, material deliveries, and subcontractor performance
Assist in commissioning and punch list close-out
Analyze project budgets, contract terms, and variations
Prepare progress reports for management and clients
Establish and maintain project document control systems
Coordinate document flow between design, construction, and client teams
Report site issues, changes, and progress to the Project Manager
Maintain daily communication with architects, contractors, and authorities
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or above in Civil, Structural, Electrical, Mechanical, or Construction Management.
At least 3 years of experience in industrial, energy, or large-scale construction projects.
Familiarity with U.S. building codes, permitting, and inspection processes.
Strong English communication skills.
Proficiency in using CAD software and office software such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
