Job Description
The Program Manager at Gotion Inc. oversees the entire lifecycle of electric vehicle and energy storage projects, ensuring customer satisfaction, managing cross-functional teams, and coordinating program activities from initial inquiry through production, with a focus on timing, quality, cost, and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the entire program lifecycle from RFI/RFQ to 6 months post-production, ensuring customer satisfaction and achievement of timing, quality, cost, and delivery objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, negotiate terms, and act as the official Gotion representative.
- Prepare and submit RFQs, build and monitor the Business Plan, define investment schemes, and manage program financials and deviations.
- Track program progress through updates to Business Plan, Program Dashboard, and Budget Reports; conduct reviews and risk analyses.
- Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams including Sales, Controlling, Purchasing, Quality, Production, Supply Chain, Design, and Engineering.
- Ensure adherence to Gotion’s Program Management System (PMS), organize communication, and facilitate smooth transfer from development to production.
- Organize key program information for continuity and knowledge management.
Requirements
- Fluency in English and Mandarin.
- Master's degree, ideally in engineering or program management.
- Minimum of 4-7 years of job experience in vehicle assembly plant, vehicle product development center, Tier1 supplier, energy storage system solution providers, or similar industrial environment, with product experience considered a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of project experience.
- Results orientation.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Conflict management skills with the ability to prevent and solve conflicts.
- Ability to work in a matrixed organization.
- Good knowledge of Project Management (PM) processes.
- Good knowledge of program standards, tools, and methods.
- Ability to establish, develop, lead, and unite a team.
- Strong financial knowledge including building and following a Business Plan.
- Proficiency in problem-solving techniques.
- Strategic and analytic capabilities.
- Planning and organizing abilities.
- Full understanding and ability to abide by the contents of the Code of Conduct distributed by Gotion.
- Willingness to do overseas traveling.
Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: $100,000 - $200,000 USD
Work schedule: Overseas travel required
