Job Description
Supervise and coordinate manufacturing production activities, ensure safety and quality standards, train staff, troubleshoot issues, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives within a battery manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate activities of production workers on the assigned shift or production line
- Monitor production schedules and adjust resources to meet daily targets
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and OSHA regulations
- Conduct start-of-shift meetings and provide work instructions
- Maintain accurate production and quality records and report key metrics
- Train new employees and evaluate the performance of production staff
- Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with maintenance or engineering teams
- Promote a clean, organized, and efficient work environment following 5S principles
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean and Kaizen
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial production environment.
- At least 1 year of supervisory or lead experience in a production setting.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, safety protocols, and quality control.
- Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and use basic measurement tools.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office and production reporting software such as ERP or MES.
Benefits & Perks
U.S. base salary range of $80,000 - $100,000, plus eligibility for bonus and benefits
