Supervise and coordinate manufacturing production activities, ensure safety and quality standards, train staff, troubleshoot issues, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives within a battery manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate activities of production workers on the assigned shift or production line
Monitor production schedules and adjust resources to meet daily targets
Ensure adherence to safety standards and OSHA regulations
Conduct start-of-shift meetings and provide work instructions
Maintain accurate production and quality records and report key metrics
Train new employees and evaluate the performance of production staff
Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with maintenance or engineering teams
Promote a clean, organized, and efficient work environment following 5S principles
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean and Kaizen
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial production environment.
At least 1 year of supervisory or lead experience in a production setting.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, safety protocols, and quality control.
Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and use basic measurement tools.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office and production reporting software such as ERP or MES.
Benefits & Perks
U.S. base salary range of $80,000 - $100,000, plus eligibility for bonus and benefits
