Job Description

Gotion Inc. is based in Silicon Valley, CA, currently building a Manufacturing facility in Manteno, IL and has R&D centers in Ohio, China, Japan and Europe. We innovate in the next generation electric vehicle and energy storage technologies (lithium batteries and related systems) with the aim to accelerate electrified

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate activities of production workers on the assigned shift or production line.
Monitor production schedules and adjust resources to meet daily targets.
Ensure adherence to company safety standards and OSHA regulations.
Conduct start-of-shift meetings and provide work instructions to the team.
Maintain accurate production and quality records; report key metrics.
Train new employees and evaluate the performance of production staff.
Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with maintenance or engineering teams when needed.
Promote a clean, organized, and efficient work environment (5S principles).
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, etc.).
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field required
Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial production environment.
At least 1 year of supervisory or lead experience in a production setting.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, safety protocols, and quality control.
Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and use basic measurement tools.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office and production reporting software (e.g., ERP, MES).
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Bilingual in English and Chinese is a plus.
The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000 –$100,000, plus eligibility for bonus and benefits.
