Job Description
Base pay is one part of our total compensation package at Gotion, and is determined within a range.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough inspections of products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems to verify conformance to specifications.
- Document inspection results meticulously, including data collection and analysis, to support quality assurance initiatives.
- Identify non-conformances and collaborate with manufacturing teams to implement corrective actions aligned with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) and HACCP protocols.
- Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to improve product quality and process efficiency.
- Support internal and external quality audits by providing detailed reports and maintaining comprehensive records of inspection activities.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required
- Proven experience in manufacturing quality control or inspection roles within medium to high volume electrical related industries or medical devices or food production.
- Computer literacy in using Microsoft products
- Working k nowledge of quality systems including ISO 9001, ISO 13485, HACCP, FDA regulations, and CGMP standards.
- Hands-on experience using or operating precision measurement instruments like calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data accurately, identify trends, and recommend process improvements.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with strong communication skills for clear documentation and reporting.
- Familiarity with quality management software such as Calypso
