Job Description
A Production Specialist responsible for operating and monitoring manufacturing equipment, ensuring product quality and safety standards, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with engineering and maintenance teams in a high-tech battery manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production equipment to meet output and quality targets
- Follow production instructions and report process deviations or equipment issues
- Perform in-process inspections using measurement tools
- Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
- Adhere to safety policies and OSHA regulations
- Support troubleshooting activities with engineering and maintenance teams
- Implement and maintain 5S standards and a clean, organized work area
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean and Kaizen
- Assist in onboarding and mentoring new team members
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing technology, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is required.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese for international team collaboration is required.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial production environment is required.
- Familiarity with manufacturing safety protocols and basic quality control procedures is required.
- Ability to read blueprints, follow work instructions, and use measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers is required.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems (ERP, MES) is required.
- Ability to operate and monitor production equipment to meet daily output and quality targets is required.
- Ability to perform in-process inspections using measurement tools and maintain accurate production and quality documentation is required.
- Strict adherence to company safety policies and OSHA regulations is required.
- Support troubleshooting activities in collaboration with engineering and maintenance teams is required.

Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: $70,000 - $80,000 plus eligibility for bonus and benefits
