Job Description
The role involves managing and supporting lithium-ion battery development projects, coordinating technical requirements and communication between international teams and customers, and contributing to the development of project management tools and processes within the electric vehicle and energy storage industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and provide technical support for Li-ion battery development projects from acquisition to series production for international customers
- Coordinate analysis of customer requirements, risk management, and change management
- Monitor project progress in collaboration with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Clarify technical details with customers and serve as an interface to development and production teams worldwide
- Ensure transparent communication between internal and external departments involved in projects
- Report project status and progress to the overall project manager across multiple sites
- Contribute to the development of tools, methods, and processes in technical project management
Requirements
- Successfully completed studies in chemistry, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification.
- Relevant experience as a project manager in the chemical and/or automotive industries.
- Experience in electromobility, especially battery development, is desirable.
- In-depth experience in the application of project management tools.
- Experience in technical details about cell and battery designs, including simulation.
- Strong ability to work in a team, confident appearance, and excellent communication skills.
- Structured and independent way of working.
- Good user knowledge of all MS Office programs and MS-Project or comparable schedulers.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
- Fluent in English and German; Chinese language skills are a plus.
