Job Description
This role involves designing, managing, and securing the company's network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks, while providing technical support and ensuring data protection and security compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and manage local, wide area, and wireless networks.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Implement network upgrades, patches, and security enhancements.
- Develop and enforce security policies and procedures.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities.
- Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, and network security devices.
- Implement and manage data encryption, backup, and recovery solutions.
- Maintain and support network hardware such as routers, switches, and access points.
- Provide technical support and training to employees on network and security issues.
- Assist with setup and maintenance of user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Collaborate with IT team members and departments on IT initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Fluency in Mandarin.
- Professional certifications such as CCNA, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in network and security administration.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and firewall management.
- Experience with security technologies, including intrusion detection prevention systems (IDS/IPS), antivirus software, and data encryption.
- Proficiency in network monitoring and analysis tools.
- Design, configure, and manage the company’s local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and wireless networks, with familiarity with Cisco systems.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure efficient and uninterrupted operations.
- Implement network upgrades, patches, and enhancements to maintain optimal performance and security.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and threats, including malware, intrusion attempts, and vulnerabilities.
- Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration tests to identify and mitigate risks.
- Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, and other network security devices to protect the company’s network perimeter.
- Ensure secure remote access for employees and authorized users.
- Implement and manage data encryption, backup, and recovery solutions.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and industry standards.
- Maintain and support network hardware, such as routers, switches, and access points.
- Manage network infrastructure documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
- Provide technical support and training to employees regarding network, deskside, and security issues.
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Work closely with other IT team members and departments to support overall IT initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure awareness and understanding of network and security matters.
Benefits & Perks
U.S. base salary range of $80,000 to $120,000, plus eligibility for bonus and benefits
