The role involves leading the analysis, design, deployment, and support of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to optimize manufacturing operations, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring system integration, compliance, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead MES requirements analysis, solution architecture design, configuration, and implementation to support manufacturing operations
Deploy, launch, and maintain MES systems across production environments ensuring system stability and performance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align MES solutions with business and operational needs
Manage MES project delivery including planning, execution, testing, validation, and go-live support
Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, upgrades, and continuous improvement for MES applications
Develop and maintain technical documentation related to MES systems
Support integration of MES with ERP, PLCs, SCADA, historians, and other manufacturing systems
Ensure MES solutions comply with industry standards, policies, and regulatory requirements
Train end users and provide technical guidance to internal stakeholders
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Hands-on experience implementing, configuring, or supporting MES systems in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of MES design specifications, architectures, and related industry standards.
Experience working with manufacturing processes, production workflows, and shop-floor systems.
Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical MES solutions.
Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
