Job Description
The role involves leading the analysis, design, deployment, and support of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to optimize manufacturing operations, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring system integration, compliance, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead MES requirements analysis, solution architecture design, configuration, and implementation to support manufacturing operations
- Deploy, launch, and maintain MES systems across production environments ensuring system stability and performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align MES solutions with business and operational needs
- Manage MES project delivery including planning, execution, testing, validation, and go-live support
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, upgrades, and continuous improvement for MES applications
- Develop and maintain technical documentation related to MES systems
- Support integration of MES with ERP, PLCs, SCADA, historians, and other manufacturing systems
- Ensure MES solutions comply with industry standards, policies, and regulatory requirements
- Train end users and provide technical guidance to internal stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Hands-on experience implementing, configuring, or supporting MES systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of MES design specifications, architectures, and related industry standards.
- Experience working with manufacturing processes, production workflows, and shop-floor systems.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical MES solutions.
- Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
