Job Description
This role involves leading government relations and policy advocacy efforts for a company specializing in electric vehicle and energy storage technologies, focusing on engaging with U.S. government agencies, monitoring policy trends, and building strategic partnerships to support industry growth and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with U.S. federal and state governments, regulatory bodies, and industry associations to promote policy dialogue and coordinate interests.
- Monitor and analyze U.S. policy trends in energy, battery manufacturing, and supply chain security, producing detailed reports.
- Participate in congressional hearings and policy lobbying to advocate for tax incentives, subsidies, and compliance exemptions.
- Build strategic partnerships with lawmakers, policy think tanks, and industry alliances.
- Manage government communication and public opinion responses during crisis events such as trade sanctions and national security reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Political Science, Public Administration, Law, Business Management, or related fields.
- At least 15 years of experience in government relations, public affairs, or related fields, with a strong track record of managing government relations.
- Deep understanding of U.S. policy-making processes, regulatory systems, and industry regulations, especially in the energy sector.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with government officials.
- Strong policy analysis and leadership abilities.
- High professional ethics and commitment to compliance.
Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: $185,000 - $250,000 USD
