Job Description
The Field Service Technician at Gotion Inc. is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing battery production equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on production machinery and support systems
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues in battery production equipment and implement solutions
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Conduct calibration and performance testing to meet operational standards
- Maintain detailed records of service activities, parts usage, and system performance
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure equipment compliance with safety standards
- Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to resolve technical issues and provide operational updates
- Participate in root cause analysis and suggest improvements for equipment reliability and process efficiency
Requirements
- Associate's degree or certification in a technical field e.g., Electrical, or Electronic or equivalent work experience.
- Possession of a local electrical license to carry out field electrical works, or the ability to attain one.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical equipment maintenance or field service.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical and software systems.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Willingness to travel extensively locally and occasionally nationally.
Benefits & Perks
U.S. base salary range of $40/hr to $48/hr, plus eligibility for bonus and benefits
