Job Description
The Field Service Engineer at Gotion Inc. is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing battery production equipment to ensure optimal performance, safety, and efficiency in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on production machinery and support systems.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues in battery production equipment and implement solutions.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Conduct calibration and performance testing to meet operational and quality standards.
- Maintain detailed records of service activities, parts usage, and system performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and safety standards for equipment.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to resolve technical issues and provide operational updates.
- Participate in root cause analysis and suggest improvements to equipment reliability and process efficiency.
Requirements
- An Associate's degree or certification in a technical field such as Electrical or Electronic, or equivalent work experience.
- A Bachelor's of Science degree is preferred.
- A valid local electrical license to carry out field electrical works, or the ability to attain one.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in electrical equipment maintenance or field service.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical and software systems.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively locally and occasionally nationally.
Benefits & Perks
Salary range: $95,000 - $120,000 (base salary)
