Base pay is one part of our total compensation package at Gotion, and is determined within a range.
Key Responsibilities
- The Energy Storage System (ESS) Operator is responsible for supporting the assembly, operation, and basic troubleshooting of energy storage systems. This role requires foundational electrical knowledge, the ability to follow assembly procedures, and a strong commitment to quality and workplace organization.
- Assist in the assembly and operation of energy storage systems and related components
- Read and interpret basic mechanical and electrical drawings to support system build and troubleshooting
- Safely use common hand tools and assembly equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures
- Perform routine inspections and self-checks to ensure product quality and adherence to specifications
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, issues identified, and corrective actions taken
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, policies, and procedures at all times
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area following 5S principles
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and team-based problem-solving
Requirements
- Prior experience in manufacturing, battery systems, or electrical assembly
- Exposure to renewable energy or energy storage systems
- Basic troubleshooting or diagnostic experience
