Job Description
Base pay is one part of our total compensation package at Gotion, and is determined within a range.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required
- Data entry and computer skills (including Microsoft Excel)
- Knowledge of metrology gauging and strong working knowledge of GD&T (read and interpret)
- Knowledge of reading blueprints and understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Knowledge of mechanical inspection and proficiency in the use of manual & visual inspection equipment: e.g., calipers, gauges, micrometers, digital indicators, surface plates, microscopes, profilometers
- Experience in a manufacturing environment and mechanical Inspection
- Experience with inspection equipment and tools (such as portable CMM, micrometers, calipers)
- MiniTab experience is a plus
- Updating and creating work instructions
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a team environment and to foster positive relationships with all functional groups
- Desire to learn and to apply new skills
- Problem solving skills with an organized and analytical approach.
- Ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to ever-changing fast-paced manufacturing demands
