Key Responsibilities
This role supports installation, troubleshooting coordination, and ongoing maintenance of industrial electrical systems up to 480V in a manufacturing plant. The position focuses on understanding electrical drawings and overseeing contractor work, with occasional on-site verification and minor maintenance support after equipment handover.
Read and interpret electrical drawings and single-line diagrams (up to 480V)
Act as technical contact for electrical contractors and vendors
Support equipment installation, startup, and acceptance
Identify electrical issues and coordinate corrective actions
Maintain documentation and update redlines
Ensure work follows electrical safety standards and NEC basics
Assist with maintenance planning after project handover
Perform basic inspection, testing, or minor adjustments when needed
Support reliability improvements and root cause discussions
Coordinate work with production and EHS teams
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering or related field
Experience with industrial electrical systems in a plant or manufacturing environment
Ability to understand electrical schematics and power distribution diagrams
Basic troubleshooting logic and communication skills
Comfortable working on-site around equipment
Electrician or electrical technician background
Experience with MCCs, motors, or VFDs
Equipment installation or commissioning exposure
Electrical license
24/7 manufacturing environment experience
