Job Description
The Accounts Receivable Specialist at Gotion Inc. is responsible for managing outgoing payments, ensuring timely collection from customers, reconciling accounts, and supporting financial processes to maintain the company's cash flow and financial accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and send invoices to customers accurately and promptly
- Monitor customer payments and follow up on overdue accounts
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve payment discrepancies
- Process incoming payments and record them accurately in the general ledger
- Maintain detailed records of all accounts receivable transactions
- Assist with monthly and year-end closing processes
- Prepare reports on accounts receivable aging and collection status
- Coordinate with other departments to resolve billing or payment issues
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation
- Recommend process improvements to enhance the accounts receivable function
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes and financial regulations.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
