Job Description
The Senior Financial Associate of Strategic Initiatives is responsible for managing the financial performance and reporting of GoodLeap's new credit card program, building financial infrastructure, and collaborating with internal teams and banking partners to ensure program success and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage financial stewardship and performance reporting of the credit card program
- Build and develop the financial operating infrastructure to support the card business
- Provide data-driven financial performance insights to executives
- Partner with the capital markets team on portfolio strategy and investor sales timing and structure
- Serve as the primary financial contact with the issuing bank, ensuring compliance and reporting obligations are met
- Develop and implement financial models and processes from the ground up
- Coordinate with the issuing bank on program compliance materials
- Present financial analysis and insights to executive leadership
Requirements
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with an understanding of credit card program economics and the needs of different types of institutional investors.
- Experience building financial processes from the ground up.
- Ability to present to executive leadership effectively.
- Ability to coordinate with an issuing bank on program compliance materials.
- Experience in providing clear, data-driven views of financial performance.
- Experience partnering with a capital markets team on portfolio strategy decisions, including the timing and structure of investor sales.
- Experience serving as the primary financial point of contact with an issuing bank, ensuring all reporting obligations are met and all bank approval requests are handled with precision and professionalism.
- Educational background in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field (implied by the need for strong financial skills and modeling).
- Experience in financial stewardship and performance reporting of financial programs or credit card programs (implied by the role's focus).
Benefits & Perks
Compensation: $120,000 - $140,000 annually
