Job Description
A Principal AI Engineer responsible for designing, building, and scaling payment platforms and products, with a focus on integrating AI technologies like large language models to automate workflows and enhance customer experiences in a secure and reliable manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and scale payments platform and customer-facing payment products
- Ensure payments systems are secure, reliable, and high-performing
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver seamless payment experiences
- Shape and execute AI strategy using agents powered by LLMs and other AI technologies
- Implement intelligent agents to automate workflows and deliver personalized, adaptive product experiences
- Balance short-term product needs with long-term platform capability development for scalable innovation
Requirements
- Experience in designing, building, and scaling payments platforms and customer-facing payment products that are secure, reliable, and performant.
- Ability to collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver seamless payments experiences that power every transaction.
- Proven expertise in shaping and executing AI strategies involving Agents powered by Large Language Models (LLMs) and other AI technologies.
- Experience exploring and implementing how intelligent agents can automate complex workflows and deliver personalized and adaptive product experiences.
- Ability to balance near-term product needs with building long-term platform capabilities that enable innovation at scale.
- Strong understanding of AI technologies, particularly in the context of payments and automation.
- Experience in developing or working with AI-powered applications and developer tools related to payments or financial technology.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative work culture and thrive in a team environment.
- Willingness to perform additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors or managers related to the position or department.
