Job Description

The Bangor Site Lean Leader will provide both strategic & tactical support within the Bangor Manufacturing facility in the development and sustainment of a Lean Roadmap aligned with the business imperatives.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma /GED with at least 4 years of experience in Manufacturing)
Minimum 5 years hands - on experience in Lean deployment and driving changes in production shop floor through strategic projects
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university
Ability to develop and motivate a high-involvement team through commitment to meeting customer and organization demands
Knowledge of the disciplines of manufacturing management such as production and inventory control, quality management systems, and standard cost systems
Strong analytical skills
Knowledge of products, processes, customer requirements and budgeting / financial processes
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Change agent with strong credibility and influence in the organization
Demonstrated commitment for process improvement
Demonstrated commitment to the GE Vernova Way
Formal Lean Training /certification
