Job Description

The Project Operations Manager is responsible for driving key operational initiatives supporting Global Operations to improve execution rigour, consistency, and performance across the HDNU Projects organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Own and lead data analysis and reporting activities to support business reviews, metrics tracking, and operational decision-making.
Develop and maintain a centralised training repository to strengthen project execution team development and improve organisational knowledge capabilities.
Support and lead project catalogue tool expansion and optimisation, including the identification of improvement opportunities and coordination with relevant stakeholders.
Partner with regional Poles and functional teams to identify processes and associated QMS procedures requiring improvement, simplification, and standardisation.
Drive the development, documentation, and deployment of standard work across the HDNU Projects organisation.
Coordinate the monthly cross-functional metrics bowler reporting rhythm, ensuring timely updates, alignment, and follow-through on agreed actions.
Drive operational rigour and support the execution of global change management initiatives across the organisation.
Translate strategic direction into operational priorities, practical action plans, and measurable outcomes.
Influence and align stakeholders across functions, regions, and leadership levels to enable successful implementation of priorities.
Focus on the critical few business needs and apply structured problem-solving approaches to improve project execution effectiveness.
Gestire e coordinare le attività di analisi dei dati e reportistica a supporto delle business review, del monitoraggio delle metriche e del processo decisionale operativo.
Sviluppare e mantenere un repository centralizzato per la formazione, con l’obiettivo di rafforzare lo sviluppo dei team di project execution e migliorare le capacità di condivisione della conoscenza all’interno dell’organizzazione.
Supportare e guidare l’espansione e l’ottimizzazione dello strumento di catalogazione dei progetti, identificando opportunità di miglioramento e coordinandosi con gli stakeholder coinvolti.
Collaborare con i Poles regionali e i team funzionali per identificare processi e relative procedure QMS che richiedano miglioramento, semplificazione e standardizzazione.
Promuovere lo sviluppo, la documentazione e l’implementazione di standard work all’interno dell’organizzazione HDNU Projects.
Coordinare il ciclo mensile di reporting cross-funzionale delle metriche attraverso il bowler, garantendo aggiornamenti puntuali, allineamento e follow-up delle azioni concordate.
Rafforzare il rigore operativo e supportare l’esecuzione di iniziative globali di change management all’interno dell’organizzazione.
Tradurre la direzione strategica in priorità operative, piani d’azione concreti e risultati misurabili.
Influenzare e allineare gli stakeholder tra funzioni, regioni e diversi livelli di leadership per garantire un’efficace implementazione delle priorità.
Concentrarsi sulle priorità aziendali più critiche e applicare metodologie strutturate di problem solving per migliorare l’efficacia dell’esecuzione dei progetti.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Business, or another technical or business-related field from an accredited university or college, or equivalent knowledge and experience.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and influence stakeholders in a complex matrixed environment.
Proven experience in process improvement, operational standardisation, and change management.
Previous experience within a Projects organisation or closely related project environment.
Strong ownership mindset and ability to operate as a self-starter.
Results-oriented approach with a strong focus on execution.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, global, cross-functional environment across multiple time zones.
Demonstrated experience in Project Management, Project Operations, or a related Project Management discipline, with significant exposure to Operations.
Clear and structured thinker with the ability to identify and prioritise the critical few.
Proven experience communicating across organisational levels, including senior leadership, functions, and regional Poles.
Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and influencing skills.
Ability to convert strategy into actionable business objectives and support adoption across teams.
