Job Description

The Aeroderivative Systems Integration Leader (SIL) is a critical role in the systems engineering team to execute package programs in partnership with the cross-discipline engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

Partners with cross-discipline engineering teams to develop program plans that meet technical, production, and business requirements. Program plans include schedule, cost, and incorporating risk mitigation plans for a scope of work.
Translates product requirements into documented technical requirements for the engineering team to achieve.
Leads execution with engineering teams to ensure program plans are progressing to deliver on-time and within budget for a set scope of work from program scoping to validation completion.
Resolves system level technical issues. Performs trade studies with engineering teams to ensure PRD CTQ’s are met.
Defines scope, schedule, cost, and risk mitigation plans to achieve technical product requirements for package proposals outside of quoting limits.
Demonstrates clear technical communication skills across engineering, commercial and supply chain organizations.
Participates as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews with engineering leadership.
Provides timely communication and recommendations on significant issues or developments to senior leadership teams.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Engineering
6 years of technical experience in gas turbine, accessories, plant, or controls engineering.
Strong knowledge of gas turbine accessories and controls and demonstrated technical capability.
Experience with Aeroderivative product development.
Problem analysis and resolution skills.
Able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization and with partner organizations.
Ability and willingness to challenge status quo, without allegiance to past or current practices and technology, to drive to the best GE Vernova products.
Proven track record of delivering results in a complex and dynamic business environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
