Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Bridge design and manufacturing: Serve as the primary technical interface between the rotor design engineering team and the factory floor — translating engineering drawings, specifications, and requirements into clear, actionable direction for manufacturing teams.
Drive producibility improvements: Engage early in design reviews to assess manufacturing feasibility and systematically improve generator design for producibility, cost-effectiveness, and process capability — without compromising quality, safety, or performance.
Resolve technical issues: Lead resolution of design-to-manufacturing challenges, including nonconformances and deviations. Apply root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective and preventive action (CAPA) methodologies to address issues at their source and prevent recurrence.
Capture and apply lessons learned: Feed manufacturing insights back into design standards, product improvements, and new product introductions — ensuring the organization learns and improves with each production cycle.
Lead and develop: Provide technical oversight, mentor junior engineers, and support lean and continuous improvement initiatives that raise the bar across the production environment.
